Our most successful year to date and we now have had 13 years of raising money to help children in need. On Friday nite we jammed for the Kids and broadcast it live and invited folks to come out and just enjoy the good times and without a doubt a fun time was had by all...Special thanks to Bobby Deal of Spare Change Music for putting the local talent together.

Our auction began this year by remembering those lost in the terrorist attacks here in our country on 9/11 and we continued the theme throughout the day and night. But thanks to everyone who chipped in and helped ...the telephone operators, the runners, the kids who volunteered their time....A Special note to Kelly Jentzen and Eddie Cozart, two high school students who help host our event. Our future is in good hands for those whom might have ever wondered...our youth continues to amaze me year after year....

Mayor Bill Graham and his son David who also co-host do such a wonderful job and devote much time to the event.

Ed Cozart who is right there for whatever is needed and helps me co-host each year and his help is invaluable.

The Austin High School Media class that handles the entire production under the guidance of Mike Trulock and Scott Richie. The fact of the matter is, these folks and the students are fantastic and so professional in their production and knowledge.

We have so many of the mainstays who year after year are there...doing whatever is needed, just doing and doing.

The volunteer officers and board members who fight all year long to make this one day a success, how can you ever thank them enough....and having said that...I guess is the point. I have not seen one person involved in this organization who wants or needs a "thank you" the deeds done thru out the year prove that they do it for one reason.....they care and want to make a difference in lives....and do so. Watch for a posting of events which we will be attending and passing out information on how you can become involved or drop us a note to our post office box and we will contact you.

Thank you for another successful year....we are helping and doing it the best way we know how...

Do you have suggestions on how we can better help the kids...drop us a note...we're all ears when it comes to helping....

Thanks to anyone who spent one second helping and to those who bid you are what makes this a success.

To our merchants and individuals who donate items for us to sell year after year...the simple fact is....we do not exsist without you and you are the backbone of our organization.

Once again thank you.
