KIDS FIRST a non profit group that raises money to help needy children with warm coats and shoes and other items such as wheelchairs and glasses is planning again.

Broadcast live on INSIGHT CABLE the charity auction runs anywhere from 12 to 20 hours and auctions off items over the Televison to raise money.

Last year we auctioned off everything from a horse to NASCAR collectibles and lots of things donated by local merchants and celebrities.

We're GROWING and EXPANDING our viewer coverage for the first time this year. Thanks to our agreement with Insight Cable we will be broadcasting into not only Scott County but Jackson, Washington and Clark Counties as well. This will more than triple our coverage and those who can and will watch our benefit. Those with Insight Cable Service in these counties will be able to watch and have a chance to bid on the hundreds of items that will be offered. We have also added more telephone lines to insure your call gets through to us and in order for you to make your bid. Remembering all funds raised through this benefit go to help children in need and without the generous support of local merchants the event would not be possible.

Already some names being passed around as possibly appearing are DELANEY BRAMLETT, KIM BRAMLETT, GREG MARTIN of the KENTUCKY HEADHUNTERS and RONNIE MONTROSE just to name a few. An effort is under way to have a classic Rock n Roll concert before the event which is normally planned for the Saturday before Thanksgiving.

We are exploring the possibility of a concert a couple of days prior to the Auction date.

We are talking to some of the biggest names in the business. It promises to be fun.....
